Rethinking perseverance with First Nations students: an inter-order proposal for learning to be welcoming

Project Summary

This project aims to organize meetings between post-secondary institutions in the Greater Montreal area and Indigenous individuals and organizations representing secondary schools in Indigenous communities. Based on the issue of school retention, we propose a common approach based on listening to needs and cultural humility in order to learn how to truly welcome First Peoples to campuses in a spirit of inclusion.
