The issue:  Promoting STEM

In 2023-2024, PIM mobilized various college, university and community stakeholders to promote STEM careers to young women in high school and CEGEP in a digital marketing campaign entitled Les STIM au féminin.

This project brought together many people, both in university and college institutions, and in social and community circles working to promote scientific careers and culture. At the end of this project, we inherited a legacy consisting of a brand image, Les STIM au féminin, a network of partners and twenty video vignettes featuring young women in STEM fields of study, professions, and organizations. Of particular note is the contribution of the Association pour l'enseignement de la science et de la technologie au Québec (AESTQ), which has created a web page aimed at teachers, highlighting an area of science from one of the twenty capsules, with accompanying teaching resources.

Aim

In 2025-2026, the PIM will incorporate the objective of promoting and improving accessibility in STEM programs into the general objectives pursued in the projects under the “Transition and Accessibility” axis.

Priorités
2024-2025

En 2024-2025, le PIM s’associera aux partenaires du projet Les STIM au féminin pour des présentations ou des activités de diffusion des capsules.
