Tools for a benevolent transition: supporting teachers in implementing a pedagogical approach that promotes the psychological well-being of first-year university and college students

Project Summary

With a view to equipping its teachers with “caring pedagogy,” a committee at the University of Montreal has developed a “Guide for pedagogy that promotes the psychological well-being of the student community.” The project, which focuses on analyzing pedagogical value, aims to develop, test, and evaluate the effects of a set of activities based on this guide, intended for new teachers and those who teach during the first semester of a college or university program.
