Towards a smooth transition to higher education in mathematics through the introduction of inter-level practices and dialogue
Project Summary
This project aims to expand and sustain the communities of practice established by the Regroupement des cégeps de Montréal (RCM) and the Centre de services scolaire Marguerite-Bourgeoys(CSSMB), which are composed of secondary and college teachers, educational advisors, and researchers in mathematics education. These communities respond to a strong interest and need to harmonize mathematics practices between secondary and college levels. CEGEPs and school service centers in Montreal will be invited to collaborate with researchers for benefits at all three levels.
