An AI-based support system to promote first-year students’ positive transition, navigation, and retention in CEGEP science and social science programs
Project Summary
This project promote college through complex and anxiety-inducing math courses. Research has clearly established a correlation between academic performance in math courses and academic success and positive integration at the college level. As such, in this project, an AI-based support system will be designed, implemented and evaluated to address academic, retention, and navigation issues experienced by diverse CEGEP learners including those with cognitive issues in math courses where failure rates are high and dropout rates are alarming.
